Ensemble d'Atlántico is a music ensemble specialising in Spanish and Latin-American music. The two sides of the Atlantic seem in our times closer than ever. Our music has always been so. Iberian and Latin American music are linked not only by language but also by style, Arabian-influenced harmony and dance rhythm.  We believe that folk music often rises to the level of purest art in terms of feeling and expression. Our latest album is Cruzando Océanos.

Ensemble d'Atlántico is based in Ghent, Belgium. At the centre of our ensemble is the Belgian/Bolivian soprano Anna Pardo who was born in Cochabamba and now lives here in Ghent. We specialise in Spanish and Latin-American music, performing both classical composers such as Rodrigo, Montsalvatge, Obradors and Villa-Lobos, as well as song writers such as Ramirez (Alfonsina y el Mar), Claure (Cantarina) and Guastavino (La Rosa y el Sauce). Our recent CD is called Cruzando Océanos. You can hear the album on Spotify or order a CD by writing to us at ensembledatlantico@gmail.com. Read more about  Cruzando Océanos here.
