Friday 17th to Sunday 19th October: new singing master class in the irresistible surroundings of Quatre Mains Pianos (Kwaadham 52, 9000 Gent). Joris Derder and Anna Pardo Canedo will coach five talented singers in Spanish and English repertoire, working up to a final concert on the Sunday afternoon. Joris will sing a recital of music by Quilter and Vaughan-Williams in the evening of Friday 17th Octboer, while Anna performs de Falla, Granados and Turina on the Saturday evening. On Sunday 19th October at 15hrs our students will sing the final concert and present the music they've been working on during the three days of the master class. Sunday 26th October at 11hrs: Emma Posman will kick off our new vocal series, Ensemble d'Atlántico & Friends, in collaboration with Madonna concert rooms and gastronomic restaurant. She'll sing a varied programme including well-known and well-loved songs by Schubert, Strauss and Dvorak, but also contemporary works by two of the best composers in Flanders at the moment: Lucien Posman and Mathias Coppens.
