Beggars Belief by Adam Gorb and other contemporary vocal music. We've been wanting to perform this moving and dramatic cycle by Adam Gorb since we first heard it a couple of years ago. It's about the homelessness crisis. It's about the refuge crisis. It's about the unenviable situation in which any one of us could find him/herself if fate had been less kind to us. The cycle doesn't have a moral message, it's a piece of art, a drama bringing to life the predicament which could befall anyone. We don't want to educate. We don't want to preach. We just want to share the intensity of this fantastic song cycle with you.

Poet R.L. Stevenson & composer Ralph Vaughan Williams explore the theme of travel as spiritual self-discovery. The interval between leaving and arriving. Songs of Travel is one of the greatest ever song cycles.
