Beggars Belief by Adam Gorb and other contemporary vocal music. We've been wanting to perform this moving and dramatic cycle by Adam Gorb since we first heard it a couple of years ago. It's about the homelessness crisis. It's about the refuge crisis. It's about the unenviable situation in which any one of us could find him/herself if fate had been less kind to us. The cycle doesn't have a moral message, it's a piece of art, a drama bringing to life the predicament which could befall anyone. We don't want to educate. We don't want to preach. We just want to share the intensity of this fantastic song cycle with you.

By the way Beggars Belief is a play on words, an idiom meaning that something defies belief. But in this context it also means that you can believe what the life of a beggar might be like . . .
